Tayho  a Buti-Pooka

“Buti=Pooka” A shape-changing creature from the Teke people, that mainly inhabit the south, north, and center of what is now the Republic of the Congo, The Buti-Pooka commonly took the form of a  animalistic creature, sometimes with a partially-human body. These magical pooka figures called “Buti,” were used by ritual specialist for protection against witchcraft, disease, and for acquiring power and riches.

You can think of the Bito-Pooka as a spirit-guide of sorts, coming to assist people when they really need them the most
